ABSTRACT:
An embedded system is a special-purpose computer system designed to perform a dedicated function. Since the system is dedicated to specific tasks, design engineers can optimize it, reducing the size and cost of the product. Embedded system comprises of both hardware and software. Embedded system is fast growing technology in various fields like industrial automation, home appliances, automobiles, aeronautics etc. Embedded technology uses PC or a controller to do the specified task and the programming is done using assembly language programming or embedded C.
Now a days, vehicle theft are increases day by day rapidly, it was not decreases. Our concept is to protect the vehicles from the thieves. By using inter security projects. This project consists of keypad, ignition switch, LCD display and alert. First we insert the key in the ignition switch, the microcontroller ask password for rider. The wrong entry password is accepted by three times. If fourth time also they entered wrong password means the alarm unit will be operated produce alarm by controller action. This process will help to protect the vehicles from unauthorized persons handling. If alarm is operated we press reset switch to stop the alarm. Otherwise produce sound effect continuously. When reset switch will be pressed the alarm unit stop beeping.
