Objective:
The objective of this project is to control the motor speed of knitting machine. The keypad is used here as a TV remote so we can change the speed of the motor to our desired level. Already we have programmed it in remote control; therefore according to the key press the speed of the knitting machine motor will be changed. The RF wireless communication is takes place in between remote and motor controlling device.
Brief Methodology:
This project is designed with
Ø Microcontroller
Ø Motor
Ø Control ckt
Ø D/A converter
Ø RF Transmitter/Receiver
Ø Encoder/Decoder
Description:
The keypad is connected across the encoder circuit. Encoder which converts analog signal into digital signal for serial communication purpose. Afterwards the converted signal is passed to RF transmitter. It transmits the relevant signal to RF receiver through transmitting antenna.
In receiver side, we should tune the relevant frequency range similar to transmitter for getting the proper result. So the modulated signal is getting through receiver antenna then it feeds to RF receiver for getting the original signal. Afterwards this signal is given to decoder circuit for converts’ digital signal into analog signal and finally gives to Microcontroller. Here the microcontroller is the flash type microcontroller in which we have already programmed with our objective.
The output of the microcontroller is connected across D/A converter. The DAC peripheral generates the voltage according to the given data. So the motor present in the knitting machine is energized by it.
Advantage:
1. Low power consumption.
2. Economical
3. Low expensive
4. Easy to implement
Accuracy
